James is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio majoring in illustration. He has published illustrations including cover art for Shield Games, Inc. in the 1990's and is the credited illustrator for the movie documentary, "The Dreams in Gary's Basement". James moved to Colorado in 2025 after a 33 year career but has always been actively drawing and pursuing art goals.

Commission Information
James is available for commisions first come, first served. For holidays, it is recommended that any commission requests be at least two months in advance.
James works totally with graphite pencils and graphite powder. No other medium is used. Available sizes are 9"x12", 11"x14" or 14"x 17" that are great for standard framing (no, James does not provide framing or matting services). Custom sizes or oversized pieces must be discussed with James and may incur additional costs.
Drawings will be hand-delivered, if possible. Shipping is available at an additional cost of $20 (shipped flat, not rolled).

Special Requests or considerations may incure a fee as well. Also, now that l am an LLC, I have to charge 8% in sales tax as well.
